The Spelling of "Al A NON"
(Alanon is a trademarked name, used to refer to the program for family and friends of alcoholics. I was contacted by Al-Anon headquarters and told that SobrietyStones was coming up as the first site in the search for Al A NON and that people who were looking for help from Al-Anon were ending up at my site. Would I respectfully not use the formal spelling of Al-Anon so that the people who needed help would find the right resources.
I changed the way it was spelled so that people looking for jewelry for Alanon would still know which stones to pick for themselves, without violating my agreement with Al-Anon headquarters, or interfering with people who were looking for the Al-Anon group.)
